In what way is The Prince relevant to today’s society

One way ib which The Prince still has relevance in today's society is that it cites the "popularity" and "goodwill" of a ruler to be most important in maintaining support. Our contemporary, elected officials must do the same in order to hold onto their support base and be re-elected.
