Is Fleming a likeable character? A sympathetic one? Do you identify with him at all?

I think Flemming is a sympathetic character. Like most of us, he is naive about the realities of war. He is a likable boy with many of the insecurities that we feel. This is what makes Henry a protagonist that we can relate to.
