In a previous chapter, Henry could have been a guide to “the tattered man,” but he did not offer assistance as this kind stranger did. In your opinion, how do these two situations compare/contrast with one another?

I think Henry isn't as mature and battle hardened as the kind stranger. Henry is still a youth feeling scared, angry, frustrated.....Henry has not yet developed the emotional resilience to act as the kind man did.
