The Road
discuss the theme of right and wrong?
and how it relates to the novel
and how it relates to the novel
This is interesting. THe father and son talk about how they are the "good guys". The son keeps looking to his father for this reinforcement through their trials and tribulations. The world has gone to Hell. Everything is wrong. Does this mean the boy and the man are the only ones left that are right? Somehow the concept of right and wrong get buried in the carnage which is Mccarthy's dystopia. Really I'm not sure if right and wrong matter so much anymore; humanity is dead.
