The Road

Who is telling?

Is it an omniscient writer who tells us what the characters think and feel? Does the author attempt to describe from one or more of the people in the book? Does the perspective change or is it just a person's point of view?

The Road is narrated in the third-person. The majority of the novel is told from the father's perspective. After the father becomes ill, however, the point of view changes and we see the events as they unfold through the eyes of the boy.
