Where exactly is the brook in the novel?

I know that the brook is near Hester's house, but is there a quotation that describes the location of the brook? Thanks.

All we know is that the brook is somewhere in the forest on the outskirts of the town. People from the town seldom went into the forest because they feared it was cursed and filled with savages.
