When Marguerite comes out of the house to wish Sir Percy Godspeed, why does there appear to be a frown between Sir Percy's eyes?

From the text, we can infer that Percy didn't want his wife to see him leave..... he seems to have wanted to slip away without goodbyes. From their conversation, we can infer that he had no wish to share his plans.... that he doesn't trust her.
