How had Lily changed in the book the Serect Life of Bees?

Over the course of the novel, we see Lily change from guiltridden, impulsive girl into a strong, introspective young woman. She also comes to the point where she can confront her father for the way he treated her, and the things he made her feel. This confrontation allows her to put away the past and truly move onto a new future.
