After walking in the sweltering heat, Rosaleen and Lily find a general store. Lily goes in, buys some food, and steals snuff for Rosaleen. No, I don't think it was wrong. Really who am I to judge Lily? She has had such a hard life and the snuff is a small comfort to her friend.
