The Social Contract Theory asserts that law and political order have been created by people to benefit all.... but that the contract can only be fulfilled if the people and politicians fulfill their parts of the contract. The Contract also asserts that it is the obligation of the people and the government to mutually do what is right for the benefit of all.... the government, for example, cannot fulfill is role as protector of the people. if the people do not follow the laws. Lastly, the people have to have choices... they can leave or stay based upon these decisions... the Contract is voluntary.
