The reason he visited so infrequently was because he became so detached and emotionally removed from his mother. He felt she was happier in the home, that she had friends, and schedule. He well remembers when they lived together and how bored she was. After she seemed to get used to the home.......... he was used to it too. But the fact that she seemed complacent allowed him make fewer and fewer visits until he only visited her a few times a year.
