The Stranger

What does the director of the home say he found weird about Meursault? What inferences might a jury assume based on this description and information? How might it negatively affect Meursault's case?

im having a hard time finding this in the reading.

The Director tells the court that he found it strange Mersault didn't want to see his mother.... that he never cried, that he never paid his final respects at her grave, and that he was far too calm. Another things that surprised the Director was that Mersault told one of the men who worked for the undertaker that he didn't know how old his mother was. This information could easily impact his case negatively because it portrays him as a cold, unfeeling man.
