What was Meursault's reaction to the deaths?

Meursault has no feelings, he is detached from humanity and indifferent to the emotions others feel. He does not love, and he does not grieve. He has no conception in his own mind of the difference between right and wrong, thus, he has no guilt and feels no remorse. Meursault's character would definitely be considered an existentialist.
