    Students will be able to learn more about the environment in which the text takes place.

    Structure:

    This is a relatively freeform activity. The teacher should pull up Google Maps or Google Earth and, with the help of a projector, show a map of the People's Republic of China. They should then try to give students a better idea of the country's key geographical features, such as its rivers, mountains, and major cities.
