What is the real theme of this novel? or any other theme from The timekeeper?

I'm working for my thesis now andI need some help, because I make 'The Timekeeper' a novel for my thesis. Any other theme except the preciousness of time?

I think the most powerful theme in this novel is about (surprise) time. It really does not matter how much time one has left, it is about how this time is spent. People waste their lives in the pursuit of money or material wealth when, in the end, love is the only thing that really counts. People will cherish most the time they spend with loved ones.
