what is reality? How is reality constructed and ptresented before us? discuss in the light of "the truman show'

Reality is the life we are living..... our dreams and hopes are a part of our reality, in the same way our actual circumstances and the way we accept them are all a part of reality. Truman's world is real for him.... we know that he lives in a world that is "unreal" for all of the other players. People have manipulated his life to play out in a world for everyone else to see, and yet, his hopes and dreams, which for him are reality, are the things that allow him to escape from the man made world in which he lives.
