McMurdo is clear that he is loyal to McGinty. McMurdo also likes McGinty because he is intelligent and tough.

McMurdo has shown McGinty a flash of his fake criminal history and makes himself a very professional person in crime to be counted in Mcginty"s most loyal and trustworthy men.

Novel

Mc Murdo was much bold and courageous in front on Mc Ginty. Also, he showed his delinquent and murderous past that proved him a fearless and cold blooded man. Mc Murdo's fearlessness and audacity to murder someone opened the gate for Mc Ginty to trust him and accept his past.
