Why does robert bruise so easily? As well as why dont people like to talk about what happened to the horses?
I don't recall a reason why he bruises so easily. Mrs. Ross mentions this while Robert is in the tub nursing his bruses from being knocked down by Teddy. She tells him of a day when he was little and he returned home wearing ice skates and someone else’s sweater. He was covered in bruises. She remarks that he always bruised easily and was such a serious child. Do you mean the horses from the rail car that Robert sets free?
I assume either that or when rob killed the horse in part 1, question i received wasnt too specific
I know killing the horse was traumatic, even scarring for Robert, ..."The air in front of him was filled with little fires but the horse was not dead." This certainly could be why nobody talks about it.
