The Wars

The narrator becomes an important character in this novel. What kind of person is he or she? What has he/she in common with the reader and why are these shared characteristics important?

I have already written that the narrator is knowledgeable and speaks with sincerity when mentioning Robert Ross.

I am not at all familiar with this novel, but have linked a resource for you below that directly deals with the narrative (as well as a few other topics). The title of the abstract is "Genre, Narrative, and History in Timothy Findley’s The Wars."
