Does Momma approve of Grandma Sands and Mr.Roberts? How do you know whether or not she does?

Momma questions Grandma Sands in an accusing manner. Grandma quickly puts her in her place and says her father has been gone twenty years. I don't think Momma would approve of any man with her mother, but it doesn't seem as if Grandma cares one way or the other.
