What does " to indoctrinate" mean? ( chapter 9)

Indoctrinate means to fully accept the ideas, opinions, and beliefs of a particular group to the exclusion of all other ideas and points of view. Mr. Ross wanted to show the students just how easy it is to become indoctrinated into a fascist ideology.
