First Act- Jealousy between best friends ruins a friendship. In turn, the ing is no longer able to act as a King.

Second Act- Unable to come to terms with his jealousy, a happy home is divided. Leontes banishes his wife and child.

Third Act- The Queen is put on trial, a tragedy because she is the epitome of a virtuous woman.
