Does leaving gifts for Fae go against Christianity?

Tough I am Christian, I am fascinated by the Fae. I want to make a little house and leave offerings in the woods around where I live. But, I'm scared that by doing so it will go against Christianity.. So does leaving gifts for the fae = witchcraft?
