How did the mice help the cowardly lion?

The mice pulled the cowardly Lion onto the Queen's truck when he was fast asleep as a result of the poisonous poppies. He needed to be moved out of the posion poppy field into the fresh air where he could recover.

Soon they rolled the Lion out of the poppy bed to the green fields, where he could breathe the sweet, fresh air again, instead of the poisonous scent of the flowers.
