How does the story’s narrative form contribute to the development of the narrator’s point of view?

The first-person narrative allows the reader to experience and see what narrator sees without the use of flashbacks or alternate settings. We experience what the narrator expereinces, and in turn, become a part of her stream-of-consciousness.
