what an answered questions do you have about the story

I think that if we can consider the story from the point of - would this story even happen in the 21st century?  We can ask ourselves exactly why is the narrator in this situation (some suggest post-partum depression, but is that real?).  We can also wonder more clearly whether the bed rest is taking place at an asylum or if she is at home.  All of these things might be relevant to the story.
