What problem did Okonkwo have when he started out as a man that most men do not have? What trait then did he have absolutely no patience for? Why?

Okonkwo started out having to overcome his father's reputation. His father was lazy, and his father's actions created great debt. Okonkwo has no patience for laziness.

And so Okonkwo was ruled by one passion - to hate everything that his father Unoka had loved. One of those things was gentleness and another was idleness.
