When is the festival of the New Yam held? Explain Okonkw's reaction to the festival?

The Festival of the New Yam is celebrated at the beginning of the harvest. Okonkwo enjoys the festival and has a great feast but would far rather be out in his fields planting. He finds it all a distraction.
