Why had george decided never to wake up early

George tells J. a story about how he once forgot to wind his watch before going to bed, which left him confused when he woke at three in the morning. He only realized the mistake when he arrived at work, and aroused the suspicion of several constables as he walked around London so late at night.

George conveys his experience of one which was really hilarious.Once he lived in the house of Mrs Gippings.His watch stopped at 8 in evening.The next day,when he woke up,he saw the time 8,and as he had his interview at 9,he rushed for his interview.But the streer was empty and he found out the time was just 3 in morning.So he never woke up early since.
