Through the Looking Glass
edition of through the looking glass for sick children
Does anybody know how many copies printed of 1877 forty fourth thousand edition 'presented for the use of sick children' (on title-page and on front board) had a purple ink stamp of 'Charles L. Dodgson' on front free end-paper?
This is 117(a) in Williams Madan & Green handbook citing 300 copies printed but with no mention of the Dodgson stamp.
