Hey, this is a difficult one.
Scratch brave and heroic, he's mean to his dog.
He is intelligent but not smart enough to avoid freezing to death so scratch that.
He is knowledgeable about winter but he doesn’t survive this one, scratch that.
I'm going with foolish and unique. He is foolish for pushing on despite all the signs. I suppose he is unique, nobody else would try that trip.
