: Why does Scout retell the whole story through seasons?

As a child, Scout saw time pass in terms of the seasons, fall meant going to school, summer meant vacation..... that is why she tells her story in this way.

Scout is also telling the story from Boo Radley's perspective. Since he spent almost the whole story inside the house, the only change in time he sees is through the seasons. He sees the entire story happening through his window.
