Aunt Alexandra's definition of "fine folks" was being born into the right family..... heredity. Scout believed that they could be anyone, as long as they "... did the best they could with the sense they had....".

Scouts definition of "fine folks" is based on the actions of an individual where as Alexandra's is based on her family history.
