Do you believe that Sheriff Tate and Atticus made the best decision about how to report Bob Ewell's death?

This is an opinion question but I believe they did make the best decision. The truth about Boo Radley would have harmed Boo himself. Boo could not handle the attention and it was better for all involved that Bob "fell on his knife". Nobody would question how a drunken sod like Ewell could fall on his own knife. This would make it easier on Jem, Scout, and Boo.
