Scout was almost always compassionate toward her fellow man. The exception would be her early participation in pranks to lure Boo out of the house. Irregardless, we always see the compassion in the little girl, particularly in the cases of Walter Cunningham, Mrs. Dubose's illness, and later conversation with Mr. Raymond outside the courhouse.
