is haper lee related to robert e lee?

im doing a research paper for school and have seen many different sites. some say its her great grandfather and some say the arent related at all.

Apperently she is descendent from Robert E. Lee, the Southern Civil War general, Harper Lee was born in Monroeville, Alabama.

I don't think ther is any direct connection though.
