To Kill a Mockingbird

Scout ages two years-from six to eight- over the course of Lee’s novel, Which is narrated from her perspective as an adult. Did you find the account her narrator provides believable?

What is it that makes the narrators account believable?

In essence, I find Scout's narration to be genuine.... to be exactly the way she perceived things as a child. Unfortunately, when we look back at things from our childhood in adulthood.... we don't always remember things the way they happened, but rather in the way we saw them. The two things are not necessarily the same.
