Atticus says that you never really understand a person " until you climb into his skin and walk around it. " What does this mean? Is it an easy thing for Scout to learn.

Atticus teaches this lesson continually throughout the text. He wants the children to look outside the box and see people from all angles..... to put themselves in the other person's position. He does not want them to ignorantly judge by how things appear, he wants them to see.
