What do you like about this book and why? Do you like the story in general, or do you just like the story? State

The book is a contemporary classic that will outlive all of us. It gently tackles some heavy themes using characters, like Atticus, with such grace and dignity. I especially appreciate the character of Atticus Finch who defies ignorance even at his own peril. Themes of doing the right thing despite popular opinion and showing respect for all people never go out of style.
