he Cunningham's were the stereotypical, 1930s, lower-class family. The family is poor, but they keep there promises, and return every favor with the fruits of their farming or labor. They are loyal, proud, and hard working. They never ask for anything they can't repay. For example, Atticus helps with some minor law issues, and Atticus found chopped wood and potatos from the Cunninghams as payment.
