Scout has a few conflicts. All of them have to do with her "Coming of age" in a racially charged environment. She must discover the true nature of her "benevolent phantom" Boo Radley as well as contend with the exposed prejudice and hypocrisy of many of her friends and neighbours.

Her coming of age, her behavior etc .

What? Her coming of age? I thought we were talking about Jem . . . oh well.

I suppose I have no choice. Her coming of age.
