Can anyone describe Cole's nightmare in Chapter 13?

Cole dreamt of people he knew coming towards him. Each person helped him. Garvey was feeding him, the nurse was tending to his wounds and his father was giving him money. Then a lightening bolt hit and turned them into monsters. They all laughed at Cole calling him "a baby faced con."
