Cole worked hard on his shelter and began carving a totem pole. He took great care in stockpiling firewood for the cold weather and made sure that the fire was tended at all times. He even cut down a small pine tree in the woods to use as a Christmas tree as he celebrates the holiday. Cole sets himself with a routine and sticks to it. The pride he has in his shelter is all a part of the healing process.
I think that cole really worked hard and wanted to change himself for the better. He knew if he didn't change it would get worse and worse. He regretted what he did to better and genuinely felt bad
