Peter twice attempts to commit suicide, and Cole believes the answer to Peter’s problems is to have him spend time on the island. Why does Cole think this is a good idea, and do you think that it will work

It is difficult to say what may have helped Cole would help Peter. Certainly Cole learned how to release his anger on the island but it was a long and arduous process, he had to return a second time after almost being killed the first. Still, Peter needs something besides punishing Cole to heal his wound. Self-discovery and forgiveness, in some form, is what Peter needs.
