peter's comment at the circle on page 50.What parallel are there between what peter wanted for cole and what has happened to him?

When asked, Peter stated that he thought someone should smash Cole's head against a sidewalk so he'd know how it felt.......... it parallels the beating Cole receives from the Spirit Bear.

I think it parallels to peter getting beat up by the spirit bear because cole felt the same pain that peter felt and maybe even more pain than peter.
