What were your initial reactions to Cole Mathews in the beginning of the book? (Paragraph Answer Please)

I found Cole to be an angry young man who needed help desperately. Any time you see a young man or woman displaying these types of volatile behaviors there's almost always an underlying reason. I saw Cole as troubled, and in need of serious attention.
