I'm not sure what you mean.... in Chapter Twenty, Silver approaches the garrison with a white flag, and the bulk of the chapter revolves around their conversation. Outside of the fact that Smollett distinctly refuses all that Silver demands, very little else is said or done. Possibly, your question relates to Smollett's refusal to capitulate, and the way in which he asks Silver to leave.
