What are some "good" and "evil" evil traits of long John silver. I didn't catch any

Really..................????? Long John is the best part of the book. He's sly, cunning, tough, and very good at manipulating the people around him. I guess those traits would be on the evil side, although they make him a great pirate.

On the "good" side, he's intelligent, well-spoken, a pratical decision maker, and brave to boot.
