How would Mrs. Hale write a personal letter to a good friend?

If Mrs. Hale were to write a personal letter to a good friend who was a former neighbour and who possibly knew Minnie Foster in her youth, would she tell her all the evidence found or ask questions as to why she "might" have killed her husband or simply inform her about the situation of Minnie Foster being convicted? What would she say?
