Morrie asks Mitch a series of questions: " Have you found someone to share your heart with?" " Are you trying to be as human as you can be?" In context of these questions, What does the difference seem to be between the way Morrie thinks and the way Mitch thinks?

Mitch is much more concerned with success and is lost in the details of trying to attain it both personally and professionally. Morrie asks Mitch to consider what really makes life worth living. Morrie has always been acutely aware of what is real in life, especially when he nears the end of it. Morrie knows that career and financial success, the things that Mitch covets, do not really matter when all is done.
